What we build

Our specialty is Western Red Cedar. We also build in pressure treated wood, composite, vinyl and aluminum when that is the right call for the job. We build retaining walls and railings too.

Why we start with cedar

Western Red Cedar grows here, handles the rain here, and looks right here. It resists rot and insects on its own, it stays straighter than pressure treated wood, and it ages to a soft silver if you let it, or holds its colour if you stain it.

It is not the cheapest option and it is not the right answer for every job. When a composite deck or a vinyl fence makes more sense for how you will use it, we will say so.
